Candidate for the position of Societies Executive - Political, Campaigning & Causes

JAMES ROBERTS

Roberts for Campaigning and Political Exec: Your man for the Guild, not the Guild's man for societies

Hi all,

My name is James, and I am a History and Politics student here at Exeter, as well as the President of the Conservative Future. I would love you to vote for me as your Campaigning and Political Exec.

I am running for this position so that I can make sure that Campaigning and Political societies are properly represented to the Guild. Having ran a society and been on committee for another, I know how hard it can be for societies, particularly campaigning and political ones, to get their voice heard. That's why I promise to always think of our societies first and make sure that the Guild hears what we have to say. Campaigning and political societies, in all their forms, make up the lifeblood of discussion, debate and participation at the Uni, and I want to make sure that is recognised throughout the Guild.

I also have experience of dealing with the Guild on behalf of societies, as I have attended Guild focus groups on society activities, and I know I have the experience to out our views across. I have also worked with other society presidents to ensure that our voices were heard by the Guild. I promise to always be easily contactable if ever any of our societies need my help, and I will absolutely guarantee to always follow through on your concerns.

So, if you want an experienced Campaigning and Political Executive, with a proven record on representing our societies and a commitment to always putting societies first, then vote for Roberts for your Campaigning and Political Exec. Please do get in touch at jr370@ex.ac.uk if you have any questions.

Thanks a lot,
